Bonnie J. Crump

Bonnie J. Crump

Bonnie Crump, 83, passed away on August 5, 2026 in her home. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 60+ years, Harry Crump.

Bonnie was born to the late Dorthy (Hettrick) Bortz wife of Robert Bortz, and Harry Heck husband of Josephine Heck. She is also proceeded in death by all of her siblings: Butch Heck, Harry Heck Jr, Wendy Springer, and Robert Bortz.

Bonnie was a homemaker.  It was more than a role for her, it was her calling.  She devoted her entire life to caring for her family and making sure everyone around her felt loved, supported, and cared for. She was a remarkable mother and grandmother, and her greatest gift was the love she gave so freely. Her family was her life, and caring for them was where her heart belonged.

Bonnie found joy in the simple things in life and treasured the memories she made with her family. She had a lifelong love of the beach and looked forward to her time in Wildwood, a place she had been visiting since a young girl. She also enjoyed expressing her creativity through ceramics and making handmade greeting cards. She loved decorating for the holidays, creating a festive atmosphere for her family, and took great pleasure in entertaining and bringing everyone together. Some of her favorite moments were spent around the table playing Scrabble with her family, where laughter, conversation, and friendly competition were always part of the fun. These simple pleasures are just a small fraction of the immense joy she brought to those around her. She will be missed deeply and forever in the hearts of those that had the pleasure of knowing her.

Bonnie is survived by her three children, Keith Crump husband of Kristen, Kevin Crump husband of Marsha, and Kim Brown wife of Troy Brown. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shannon Crump, Shane Crump, Shaun Crump, Jake Crump, Courtney Crump, and Cody Crump. Bonnie is also survived by her great grandchildren, Isabella, Luca, Cesalee, Samuel, and Reyna. Burial will be at Limerick Gardens where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
