Sandra T. Melcher

Sandra T. (Moyer) Melcher, 61, wife of William C. Melcher, of Boyertown, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Born in Reading, Sandra was the daughter of the late Rufus E. and Dorothy R. (Rhoads) Moyer.

Sandra was a 1982 graduate of Oley High School and received an associates degree with Reading Area Community College.

Sandra was a medical records scanning clerk at Brookside Family Practice in Pottstown. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boyertown, and Pikeville Sportsman Club.

Sandra enjoyed crafting, but her favorite activity was spending time with her granddaughters.

In addition to her husband of forty-two years, Sandra in survived by one son, Zachary R. Melcher, husband of Shannon; two granddaughters, Delaney and Briar Melcher; two brothers-in-law, James M. Melcher,  partner of Brenda; and Robert Melcher, husband of Cindy;  three sisters, Cindy L. Melcher, wife of Robert; Deborah D. Witman, wife of William; and Mary L. Mast, wife of Gerald; as well as two brothers, Randy H. Moyer; and Kevin W Moyer, husband of Heather.

Sandra was predeceased by one daughter, Samantha “Sammy” Melcher; and one brother, Michael “Mikey” Moyer.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 3PM to 4:30PM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. A memorial service will follow at 4:30PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to For The Love of Donna ( A local cancer fund)  C/O Mona Gincley PO Box 118 Boyertown, PA 19512.

May you find comfort in the memories you shared. I have known Sandy for over 20 years and never met anyone with a big heart and great personality which I will miss dearly.
