Gerald L. Eisenhart

Gerald L. Eisenhart, 84, widower of Dorothy, of Barto, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at The Lutheran Home at Topton.

Born in Boyertown, Gerald was the son of the late Charles and Helen (Gehris) Eisenhart.

Gerald was a graduate of Boyertown High School. He worked for his fathers Plastering Company until taking it over in 1981 and opening Gerald L. Eisenhart Plastering. He continued until 2022.

Gerald was an active member of New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gilbertsville. In his younger years, he and his wife Dorothy, ran the Swamp Picnic at the church.

Gerald worked six days a week, but in his free time he loved to eat at Yoder’s Buffet. He also enjoyed making candy and going to shows. His favorite pastime was being with his family.

Gerald is survived by one son, Robert A. Eisenhart; two granddaughters, Danielle L., wife of Connor Longacre; and Jessica T., as well as one grandson Kyle T., and a great granddaughter, Adelynn. He is also survived by a daughter in law Bonnie E.; four siblings, Charles, Shirley, Janet, and Carl; and two nephews, Steve and Brian.

Gerald is predeceased by one daughter, Karen L. Trout.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday November 20, 2025 from 9AM to 10:45AM at New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church 2941 Lutheran Rd., Gilbertsville, PA 19525. A memorial service will follow at 11AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Swamp Picnic Fund at New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church at the address above.

  1. Sending condolences and lots of love to Danielle and family. Pop was such a genuinely kind soul, always sharing smiles, laughter, and a little sweetness with everyone around him. He will be deeply missed, and warmly remembered.
