  7. Mr. Truman was my high school chemistry teacher in 1977. I loved the way he taught. In fact, when I went to nursing school, I came home and pulled my old notes from his class to get me through! I later took care of him, in the hospital, where I was a nurse. A kind and dedicated man- strength to his family and the blessings of wonderful memories.

  8. My husband Keith and I ate dinner with Annette and Bill several times after they moved to Freedom Village and really enjoyed his company. He was a true gentleman and I can see why his chemistry students loved him.

  13. I was fortunate to have Mr. Truman as my 9th grade basketball coach, which I believe was his final season coaching. He showed confidence in my abilities, and he usually sent me into games as one of the first players off the bench and gave me a lot of playing time. It might not seem like much, but his belief in my potential has a positive impact on me. Sending condolences to the family during this time.

  14. May Bill be at peace. Hopefully we will meet him again when our Heavenly Father calls us. I, too, live at Freedom Village and did not know Bill well but enjoyed being with him and Annette. One could tell Bill was a super person and I wish I had known him better. He is in a better place than we and suffers no more. My sincere sympathy to his Annette and family.

  15. I am grateful for Mr Truman and I all learned from him about Chemistry and hard work. He gave me the confidence to go to college to study chemistry and I was so well prepared with his high school course. I really appreciated that he would come to our high school class reunions – it was so nice to catch up with him. My prayers are with all who admired and loved him.
