Timothy R. Downer, 85, husband of Carol A. (Botts) Downer, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Pottstown Hospital.

Born in Boyertown on August 15, 1939, Timothy was the son of the late Irwin H. Downer and Alice E. (Reppert) Downer.

Surviving in addition to his wife of sixty-three years, Carol, are four daughters, Bonnie Haas, wife of John; Sherrie Guldin, wife of Mike; Tammy Hilbert; and Carrie Murray; and one son Bret Downer. He is also survived by nine grandchildren: Harold and Kyle Murray; Jennifer Reber; Jason Wert; Jeffrey Guldin, husband of Brittany; Stephanie Boalton, wife of Josh; Ashley Hilbert; Amber Kelly; and Bret Down Jr., as well as eleven great grandchildren: Gabriella and Grayson Murray; Chloe, Jaxon, Zane, and Hannah Guldin; Aiden and Lucas Reber; Ryker Wert; Carter Downer; and Aubrey Boalton; and one brother, Charles Downer.

Timothy was predeceased by five siblings: Doris, Helen, Anna, Kenny, and Irwin, Jr.

Timothy worked at Eastern Foundry for forty-three years, and also part time at Small Castings. He was a member of Pikeville Club. He enjoyed fishing and traveling in his younger days. Timothy like to watch old western movies and wrestling after his retirement. He also enjoyed woodworking and relaxing on his front porch.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 10AM to 11AM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. A funeral service will follow at 11AM.

Burial will be at Oley Cemetery Spangsville.
