Born in Reading, Erma was the daughter of the late Willard B. and Elda V. (Haring) Dotterer.
Erma was a 1970 graduate of Boyertown High School.
She worked as a laborer at Drug Plastics, and then as a greeter at Walmart for eight years.
Erma was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boyertown. She had a strong faith in God and a deep love for her family. They were her greatest blessings.
Erma is survived by two daughters, Jessica Brunner, wife of Nathan; and Mary Reinert, wife of Todd; as well as one sister, Doris J. Langan.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 10AM to 11AM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. A funeral service will follow at 11AM. Burial will be in Hill Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army 409 S.Reading Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. This organization was dear to Erma as her father was a former Captain.
I’m so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was such a sweet soul and treated me like a sister. Unfortunately I am having hand surgery on Friday and won’t be able to attend her funeral. Praying for you both to have peace and comfort during this difficult time.
