Sandra J. (Hoffman) Schatz, 83, widow of Harvey Schatz, of Hellertown, formerly of Boyertown, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

Born in New Berlinville, Sandra was the daughter of the late Arthur Hoffman and Dorothy (Renninger) Hoffman.

Sandra was a 1959 graduate of Boyertown Area High School and worked as a secretary at Eastern Foundry in Boyertown after graduation. She became a homemaker while raising a family.  After many years as a homemaker, she returned to work as a secretary at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church after which she retired.

Sandra was an avid reader. She also loved to knit and crochet. She enjoyed sewing and making crafts.

Sandra is survived by a daughter, Doreen Gill, wife of William; and a step-daughter Donna Reibsane, wife of John; as well as two granddaughters, Corrin and Kelli Gill; one grandson, Patrick Gill; and one brother, Kerry Hoffman.

           Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 10AM to 11AM at Morrell  Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. A funeral will be held at 11AM. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
