Russell R. Moser

Russell R. Moser, 94, widower of Grace Moser, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Frederick Living.
Born in Niantic, Russell was the son of the late Howard and Sally (Renninger) Moser.
Russell worked as a tire builder for BF Goodrich and then Bally Block until his retirement. After retirement he worked at Kulp Car rental.
He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Church in Bechtelsville, served as Treasurer of Boy Scout Troop 291. In Russell’s spare time, he enjoyed travelling with his wife. He also liked to garden and go camping.
 Russell is survived by a daughter, Debra Urban, wife of Edward; a daughter in law, Sharon Moser, widow of Gary; and a son, Darryl Moser, husband of Laura; as well as six grandchildren: Kyle Moser, husband of Amanda; Kelly Van Lente, wife of Michael; Andrea Selkregg, wife of Steven; Zachary Moser, husband of Dayna; Nathaniel Moser, husband of Natalie, and Rachael Moser; and eight great grandchildren: Lucas, Peyton, Landon and Parker Moser; Nicholas and Hailey Selkregg; and Julian and Elliott Van Lente.; and Ella Moser Russell is also survived by eight step grandchildren, and nine step great grandchildren.
 In addition to his wife of sixty nine years, Russell was predeceased by one son, Gary Moser; a son in law, Jack Hoster; and a daughter in law, Tricia Moser.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, September 28 2024 from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Shepherd of the Hills Church 527 Hoffmansville Rd Bechtelsville, PA 19505. A funeral service will immediately follow at 10:30AM. Burial will be in Shepherd of the Hills Church Cemetery.     God is with us all especially when we are mourning,
    Pat and I always enjoyed talking and spending time with Russell and Grace. Pat has a lot of fond memories of when he would spend time in their home with Darryl and camping with them.

  2. I am very upset and sorry to learn that Russel died. Grace and him meant a lot to my mother Jane and she would have loved to come and give her condolences to the family. I wasctheir flower girl at their wedding.
