Irene E. (Gibson) Szilli, wife of Robert F. Szilli, Sr. (predeceased) of Bechtelsville passed away at home on August 26th, 2024. Born in Waynesville, NC, Irene was the daughter of the late Ruth Gibson.

Irene was an at-home mother for several years and then worked at Anchor Glass in Spring City along with her husband. She then was the bar manager for several years at Cheers Tavern in Eshbach. Thereafter, Irene worked for Centech Inc. in Perkiomenville until retiring in 2019.

In her younger years, Irene enjoyed playing softball, as well as being a member of several bowling and pool leagues.

In addition, Irene is survived by her daughter, Lori (Szilli) Clemmer; daughter in law, Danielle (Decker) Szilli; as well as four grandchildren: Amber (Szilli) Gabel; Brandon Clemmer; Kyle Clemmer, husband of Shelby; and Kylee Szilli. She is also survived by a brother, Floyd Gibson and 2 sisters, MaryJane DeHart and Rosalee Moody; as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces/nephews.

Irene is predeceased by her two sons, Terry L. Szilli and Robert F. Szilli, Jr.; as well as her brother, Hobert Gibson.

Family and friends are invited to join her family for services on Saturday, September 7th, 2024. Visitation is 10AM to 11AM, funeral services will follow at 11am at Morrell Funeral Home
