Rodney Youse

Rodney C. Youse, 88, passed away at Laurel Center in Hamburg, on Saturday, August 10, 2024.

Born in Boyertown, Rodney was the son of the late Carl Youse and Pearl (Dillaplaine) Youse.

Rodney was a truck driver for Mrs. Smith’s Pies for several years. He went on to work for Pfrommer where he eventually retired.

Rodney enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.

Rodney is survived by his nine children: Debra, wife of Earl Weber; Michael Youse, husband of Heidi; Cathy, widow of Perry Kramer; Barry Youse, husband of Denise; Tammie, wife of George Menard; Robin DeRose; Stephanie, wife of Joey Otero; Sam Youse; and Kelly Youse. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren; as well as one sister, Patsy, wife of Joe Contreras.

Rodney is predeceased by three sisters, Bonnie, Judy, and Carol, as well as one brother, Jake.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 11AM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave. Boyertown, PA 19512. A visitation will be held from 10AM to 11AM.

  3. Hi dad, it’s Kelly your youngest child. I’m the baby of the bunch. I’m so grateful and blessed to had a wonderful father that tried to be there. Even through his sickness he still addempted to stay in contact. He will be missed so much! Omg I love you dad. Still can’t believe you are gone. I will make sure to live my life to the fullest and I’ll continue to use my green thumb you gave me. I will be planted something in your memory. I love you dad & family, Kelly
