Stephen J. Boettger

On April 29, 2024 Stephen John Boettger left this world. Although he is gone, his spirit lives on with all who knew him. He died at his home in Boyertown with his wife, Etta at his side. He leaves

behind a sister, Mary A. Hess, son, Rodney C. Boettger, daughter, Natalie J. Boettger, two grandsons Zachary W. Hensel and Ian M.O. Boettger, two granddaughters, Courtney (Will) Haley, and Hannah

G Boettger (Steven M. Liang) along with great grandchildren VyVyann Haley, Wolfgang Haley, and Victor Haley. Stephen worked for many years at PECO.  In his retirement he was a CDL driver

for a number of regional companies. He served his community as a supervisor of Douglass Township. What people best remember about Steve is his generosity and caring for others. He also was

known for his love of animals and some would say, if you were his dog or cat, you would be the lucky one. Arrangements were handled by Morrell Funeral Home, Boyertown. After a private

ceremony Steve will be at rest in a place he truly loved on a mountainside in the Adirondacks.   In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society or your local animal rescue.
