Thelma Jeanne Morris 1924-2024          January 11, 2024 

Thelma Jeanne (Kriebel) Morris, 99, formerly of Willow Grove, Pa. Widow of the late Vernon R Morris Sr ED, passed away peacefully January 11, 2024 at the home of her son Lee Morris, with who she resided the past four years.

Born in Boyertown August 6, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Raymond W. Kriebel and Alice (Moyer) Kriebel Luckenbach. She had been baptized and confirmed at Good Shepherd United Church of Christ Boyertown, Pa. She graduated from Boyertown High School in 1942. Following graduation, she attended a Philadelphia beautician school. She worked several years for Dr Ashe of Pottstown, and during World War II at Doehlers in Pottstown. She married her sweetheart, Vernon, in 1948 and they lived in Willow Grove, Pa for over fifty years, but never forgot her roots.

Jeanne was the beloved and devoted mother of three sons. Vernon R Morris Jr MD is a board certified orthopedic surgeon on staff at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center from 1979 until 2001 who resided in North Coventry Township. Husband of Pamela (Kline) Morris, formerly of Gilbertsville, Pa, For twenty years they have resided in Sebring, FL., Wayne M. Morris OD, husband of Margaret Morris reside in Willow Grove, Pa. Lee W. Morris, husband of Beth Morris reside Coatesville, Pa.

She is preceded in death by one brother, Buddy B. Kriebel, husband of Mamie I. Kriebel of Boyertown, Pa.

She was the grandmother of four grandchildren. Vernon R Morris III of New York; Jonathan T Morris of Abington, Pa; Kelly E. Morris (deceased); Brandon M Morris, husband to Vicki Morris of Port Charlotte, FL. Step grandchildren Steven G Yerger of Gilbertsville, Pa.; Heather H. Xanthopoulos, wife of Phil Xanthopoulos of Barto, Pa.; Holly B Yerger, wife of George of Tampa, Fl. Two step great grandchildren Michael Xanthopoulos and Anthony Xanthopoulos, both of Barto, Pa.

Jeanne Morris had many nieces, nephews, and cousins who she cherished.

Family always remained her priority throughout life.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Boyertown Pa on Saturday April 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will follow at noon in the church Fellowship Hall.
