Robert W. Eichert

Robert W. Eichert, 76, husband of Dana (Donahoo) Eichert, of Boyertown, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Suburban Community Hospital in Norristown.

Born in Abington, Bob was the son of the late Willard Eichert and Eleanor (Muehsam) Eichert.

Bob was self-employed at Aer-Core Inc. for about twenty-five years until his retirement.

He enjoyed traveling with his family, and always looked forward to fishing trips in the Outer Banks with his friends. Bob also loved working outside in his yard.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Dana, are two children, Matt Eichert, husband of Patty; and Adriane Dutkiewicz, wife of Shawn, and two grandchildren, Elle Dutkiewicz, and Isla Dutkiewicz. Bob is also survived by a sister, Lynn Clinefelter, wife of Thom; and three nephews, Curt Clinefelter, husband of Nikki; Drew Clinefelter, husband of Erica; and Alex Clinefelter, husband of Devin.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 9:30AM to 11AM at New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church 2941 Lutheran Rd., Gilbertsville, PA 19525. A memorial service will follow at 11AM.

Inurnment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Boyertown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s memory to Berks County Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd, Birdsboro, Pa 19508 or St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105

  5. We are saddened for all of you . Bob left a legacy of love and inspiration evident in his Wife, Children and his Sister Lynn’s Family. I always loved hearing stories about the joyous and fun gatherings you have had over the years. While grieving I hope you can smile and laugh from time to time remembering Bob’s larger than life presence and all the Joy he gave .
