Michele P. Thompson Lightcap, 53, of Boyertown, wife of Timothy G. Lightcap, passed away on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Pottstown, September, 24th 1970, Michele was the daughter of Nadine Strong Neuman and Barry Lee Neuman.
She loved being outdoors, hunting, hanging out on the beach, sun bathing every chance she could get and spending time with her family. Her favorite thing was having sleepovers with her grandchildren. She adored all of her pets as well. She spoiled her family all the time.
Michele was employed through Jevvs Home Health Care as a caretaker for her mother for many years. She was a member of St. Gabe’s Lodge in Pottstown.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her two daughters: Tiffany K. Lightcap, wife of Wayne Fabian; and Alysa N. Lightcap. She is also survived two granddaughters: Aliyah M. Fabian, and Mackenzie G. Fabian.
Michele was predeceased by her biological father, Michael Patrick Franey; as well as one sister, Stacey Lynn West.
Services will be private at the request of the family.

  1. My heart is broken that we lost Shelly at such an early age
    She was a very loving individual. She took care of Dee, her Mom, for many years helping her with her MS and also her grandmother
    I remember the fun we had when she and Nanny flew to Florida to visit
    I remember taking Dee to the hospital when she delivered Shelly

  2. So sorry for your loss of a wonderful, loving, beautiful woman. She was a great mom, and friendly person. She faught hard. May she be at peace. I’m sure she is right beside you everyday.

  3. She had a blast down there with everyone. She has pictures from then too! She missed big nanny so much. I came across tons of photos of her and rich growing up too. I will share them with you then.
