Rose M. (Maguire) Fox, 95, widow of Albert J. Fox, of Pottstown, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
Born in Philadelphia, Rose was the daughter of the late Michael M. Maguire and Margaret (Rice) Maguire.
Rose was a member of St. Columbkill Roman Catholic Church in Boyertown. She was a bookkeeper for Sun Oil for 22 years until her retirement. In her younger years, Rose liked to crochet. She enjoyed camping with her husband and lapidary, but Rose was also most happy when she was able to spend time with her family and doing what she could with them.
Rose is survived by one son, Albert J. Fox, husband of Ellen; and one daughter, Bernadette (Fox) Sheller, wife of Curt. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Rose was predeceased by one son, Christopher Fox, as well as five sisters and two brothers.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 10AM to 11AM at St. Columbkill Roman Catholic Church 200 Indian Spring Rd. Boyertown, PA 19512. A funeral service will follow at 11AM.
Burial will be private.
