Linda L. (Cooley) Hess, 73, of Boyertown, PA passed away September 6, 2023 at the Pottstown Hospital. Linda was born in Reading on March 20, 1950, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Ohlinger) Poper and Herbert Cooley.

Linda was dedicated and enjoyed working hard at her job of 40+ years at Drug Plastics and Glass Co. Inc. in Boyertown where she worked until her retirement. In addition, she worked for many years as a waitress at the Pit Stop Tavern and Restaurant. In her retirement she worked at the local Redner’s Market and Giant. Linda always had a love of unicorn décor which she adorned her home with. She enjoyed decorating the outside of her home with flower gardens and attracting hummingbirds to her yard. Linda enjoyed having her grandchildren over to help her with her outdoor flower gardening and decorating. Linda’s daughters remember her two favorite recipes to make were her homemade chicken pot pie and her black magic cake which they enjoyed and continue to share with their families.

Linda is survived by two daughters, Lori wife of John Lindsay of Gilbertsville and Lorelie Mullane of Boyertown.

Linda was the loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren Jonathan, Hannah, Emma and Daniel Lindsay and Cody Harner and Ryker Mullane.

Linda was predeceased by her sister Mary Ann Danner. She is survived by her brother Herbert (Cindy) Cooley.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
