Jeanette M. Kline

Jeanette M. (Ertman) Kline, 91, widow of Rev. Kenneth L. Kline, of Frederick, formerly of Perkiomenville, died Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Frederick Living.

She was born in Obelisk to the late William L. and Emma C. (Little) Ertman.

She was a 1949 graduate of Boyertown High School and worked at Unicast foundry in Boyertown as a secretary.

She was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church in New Berlinville and Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Fleetwood.  She enjoyed traveling and visited numerous states, countries, and continents with family and friends.

Jeanette is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Kolarz, wife of Gregory Herb; two sons, Steven Kline, husband of Judith Kline, and Michael Kline, husband of Susan Rubinstein; six grandchildren: Kyle Kolarz, Elizabeth (Kline) Cremer, Megan (Kolarz) Stroup, Amy Kline, Ethan Kline, and Noah Kline; and two great-grandchildren, Cole Stroup and Oliver Kolarz.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 611 Swamp Creek Road, Bechtelsville, PA.  A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be in St. Andrew United Methodist Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Andrew United Methodist Church in her name, Bechtelsville, PA 19505.

  2. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. She was one of my favorite cousins. I enjoyed talking with her at the Little Family Reunions. She was always so kind and sweet to eveyone. She will be missed!

    Jean & I send you and your family our deepest condolences in the loss of your mother. It has been many years since I last saw your mom, but I remember those days in high school when visiting you at your home how nice and pleasant she always was.   6. My love and sympathy to your family. Jeanette was a good friend for many years. We were both part of a group of clergy couples dating back to Ev/EUB days , so there were many occasions to get together, share concerns, and in later years to reminisce. Now there are only a few of us left. Jeanette always made a joyful, positive contribution to the group.
