Barbara Ann (Dotterer) Saltzer, 73, widow of Jan Saltzer, of Boyertown, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Reading Hospital.
Born in Pottstown, Barbara was the daughter of the late William Walters and Betty (Schoenly) Walters.
Barbara was a 1968 graduate of Boyertown Area High School and worked in Pottstown Hospital as a unit clerk.
Barabara enjoyed watching Indy 500 Nascar racing and vacationing at the beach. She adored her grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on at their various activities.
Barbara is survived by two daughters: Angela M. Gillingham, wife of Robert, and Stacy L. Saltzer; as well as four granddaughters: Erin, Madison, Sydney, Lily, and one grandson, Ashton. Barbara is also survived by two step brothers.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 10AM to 11AM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave, Boyertown, PA 19512. A memorial service will follow at 11AM.
Burial will be in Christ Union Church in Niantic.

Barb and Jan were very dear to me, and I was blessed to have them as friends. I have such fond memories of the times we all spent together. Barb would always make me laugh and feel at home with her warmth, friendship and cheer. Good Food Too!
People at work would get tired of hearing all the stories your Dad and I would tell of our adventures together, that seemed to grow and get better each time we told them.
