Bruce L. Bartman

Bruce L. Bartman Sr., 68, husband of Bonnie (Gamler) Bartman, of Boyertown, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital surrounded by his family.

Born in Pottstown, Bruce was the son of the late Junior Bartman and Marion (Sell) Bartman.

Bruce was self-employed and was co-owner of Bartman’s Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning.

He was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church. Bruce was active in Boy Scouts and was an Eagle Scout which is the highest rank attainable. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, playing pool, and bowling. He liked to hang out at Liberty Fire Company and Pikeville Sportsmen’s Club.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are two sons, Bruce Bartman, Jr., husband of Kalyn, and Brian Bartman, husband of Shelby. Bruce is also survived by five grandchildren: Braden Bartman, Chase Bartman, Callie Bartman, Sophia Bartman, and Weston Bartman, as well as three brothers, Linwood Bartman, husband of Elaine, John Bartman, husband of Sherry, Daniel Bartman, husband of Donna, and one sister, Sandy Bancroft, wife of Paul.

 

He was predeceased by one brother, Art Bartman.

 

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 8:30AM to 10:30AM at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church 611 Swamp Creek Rd New Berlinville, PA 19505. A funeral service will follow at 10:30AM.

Burial will be in Hill Church Cemetery.
