  6. How well I remember Mike’s “welcome” when I became part of the Owen J. Roberts Family of Educators. I, along with the entire Geiger/Billger Family knew him well before that, through our involvement in the Troop #36 Scouting Family. The Mehle Family “jumped right in” and were wonderful to work with. Mike was a great friend, colleague, and scouter. He will be missed by many.

  7. Remembering Mr. Mehle as a kind and highly effective educator. He was the first teacher I recall who shared that he was studying computer programming-in an age when computers were not common. Rest gently, Mr. Mehle. Your service to students and community was appreciated!

  12. My deepest condolences to the entire Mehle family. I think perhaps Mr. Mehle was my favorite OJR math teacher, had him in both sophomore & senior years. He had a great personality. Rest in peace.

  13. Mr. Mehle was not only an amazing, kind and patient teacher, he was a friend. I was so very sad to hear of his passing. I last saw him in Feb. we laughed and talked about him wanting to volunteer to help at our brew fest again. Mr. Mehle and Mr. Meitzler were the math guys and always a lot of fun. I remember him always telling us stories about his children. He was such a proud Dad and Grandfather. My deepest condolences to his entire family for their loss. He was one of the best!
    Warm regards

    Susan
