Frances J. Harner

Frances J. (Miller) Harner, 86, widow of Elmer W. Harner, of Gilbertsville, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at her daughter’s residence.  

Born in Upper Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Ella C. (Sell) Miller and Benjamin Miller.  

Frances was employed by Lincoln Underwear as a supervisor.  

Frances loved playing bingo, camping and taking scenic drives.  

Surviving are two daughters, Jean, wife of Walter Wampole, Joan, wife of Doug Kastenbaum; one son, William Harner, husband of Susan; one brother, Eddie Miller as well as seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  

She was predeceased by grandson, Robert Kastenbaum.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Morrell Funeral Home, 124 W. Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA at 11:00AM.  A viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00AM at the funeral home prior to the service.  Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.  

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Tower Health at Home, 1170 Berkshire Boulevard, Wyomissing, PA 19610.  

Morrell Funeral Home Inc., is in charge of arrangements.

  2. I am praying for our whole family! We are so lucky to have been born into this wonderful family! Our aunts and uncles were more to us than the titles! We were all their other children. We had plenty of 2nd,3rd , 4th and ore Moms and Dads. We all had our favorites for sure. There are too many happy memories to share here. We loved Aunt Francie with our hearts and souls. She will forever be in our lives. Her and I had our cancer at the same time, so we called ourselves twinsies! Ending our conversations she always said love you…love you.l.love you, I said the same right back, because she tol me that is what Uncle Emmie and her always said to one another! So again Aunt Francie…love love love you !
