Obituary for Mark Joseph Elsesser

January 16, 1971 – July 1st, 2022,

Mark Joseph Elsesser passed away on July 1st, 2022, from a lengthy illness.

He is survived by his partner Deb Whitley, Mother-Janet Stowe, Father-Joe Elsesser, Brother-Scott Elsesser and wife Michelle Elsesser, Nephew and Niece – Scotty Elsesser and Josie Elsesser. Aunts – Joyce Detharidge and Leona Nace and other family members. In addition, he leaves behind so many friends, associates, and customers that were near and dear to his heart.

Mark enlisted in the Navy at 17yrs of age and was medically discharged 3 months later. He owned his own business in construction remodeling and energy auditing. He was an avid reader, who soaked up knowledge on just about every subject. He loved to talk and debate on all subjects with everyone. He was a kind man, with a big heart.

The veterans’ associations were a passion of his and he helped out whenever and wherever he could. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched in one way or another.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.

There will be a visitation on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, from 7PM to 8PM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave Boyertown, Pa 19512 with a memorial service to follow at 8PM. A  Celebration of Life will also be held at a later date.
