Ralph Schatz, 88, husband of Maryanne (Umbach) Schatz, of Boyertown, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Phoenixville Hospital.
Born in Pottstown, Ralph was the son of the late Daniel Schatz and Stella (Adams) Schatz.
Ralph was a 1952 graduate of Boyertown Area High School and then went on to serve in the Air Force from 1956 to 1960.
Ralph was an electrician for Longacres for several years until his retirement. He then went on to work part time at Freeds grocery store for the last ten years until his passing.
Ralph was a member of Good Shepherd Church in Boyertown. He was also a member of the local Boyertown chapter of The Oddfellows as well as The Free and Accepted Masons Boyertown Lodge #741. Ralph enjoyed baseball games, especially the Phillies.
In addition to his wife, Ralph is also survived by one daughter, Linda Schatz Kramer as well as one son, Richard D. Schatz, and one grandson, Eric N. Kramer.
Ralph was predeceased by his brother, Harvey Schatz.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, July 11, 2022, from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave Boyertown, PA 19512. A funeral service will take place at 10:45AM after a brief Oddfellow service.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery.

I loved both my Uncle Ralph and Aunt Mary Ann. I remember several things while growing up and always kept in touch one way or another. But most of all I always cherished his kindness and smiles. My condolences to my Aunt Mary Ann , Linda and Richard . My prayers are with you.
