Carole Ann Glomstad

Carole Ann (Bitting) Glomstad, 80, wife of James G. Glomstad, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Born in Pottstown, PA, Carole was the daughter of the late Donald Bitting and Eleanor (Simmons) Bitting.

Carole graduated Boyertown Areaa High School and went on to become a beautician at Bryland Institute. She later went on to Reading Muhlenberg Tech to earn her LPN. Carole worked as an LPN at PMMC in Pottstown as well as Parkhouse Nursing Home and Rehab and Manor Care.

In addition to her husband, Carole is survived by two sons, Douglas Glomstad, husband of Pat, and Richard Glomstad, husband of Lacey, as well as two grandchildren, Mason Glomstad and Theresa Glomstad. Carole is also survived by two sisters, Kathy Dusko, and Nancy Balsinger, wife of Wayne as well as a sister-in-law, Greta Schoenly.

She was predeceased by her stepmother, Margaret Bitting.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave Boyertown, PA 19512. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:30AM at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Pottstown, PA.
