Carolyn L. (Bauer) Schock, 88, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Bechtelsville, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 in the Chester County Hospital.  She was the widow of Lindy R. Schock who died May 7, 2015.  They were married for nearly 62 years.

Born and raised in Bechtelsville, she was the daughter of the late Oscar L. Bauer and Anna (Stimmel) Bauer.

Prior to retiring in the early 1980’s to take care of her mother, Carolyn worked for Campbell Fittings, Inc. in Boyertown for nearly 20 years.

She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bechtelsville and prior to moving to West Chester, Carolyn was an active participant in the Boyertown Senior Center.  Mrs. Schock was a former officer and member of the Ladies Auxiliary for both the Goodwill Fire Company in Bally and Keystone Fire Company in Bechtelsville.

Carolyn loved to play cards competitively with her family and friends.  Mrs. Schock also enjoyed baking desserts for others and treasured her time with family.  She was an avid Phillies fan and liked to organize events such as Bingo and card parties.

Mrs. Schock is survived by a daughter, Doreen F. and a son, Todd A. husband of Beth.  In addition, she is survived by two granddaughters, Tori and Heidi, two grandsons, Stefan and Darby, one great-granddaughter, Riley and two great-grandsons, Emmett and Liam.  She was predeceased by her brother, Gerald W. Bauer.
