Garry "Ronnie" Cook

Garry “Ronnie” Cook, 58, husband of Diane (Seitz) Cook, of Boyertown, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at home.

Born in Landsdale, Ronnie was the son of the late Garry Cook and Roberta (Kirkwood) Cook.

Ronnie was a 1981 graduate of North Penn High School in Landsdale. Ronnie was certified by the American Gunsmithing Institute for pistol smithing, rifles, shotguns, and .22 rimfire rifles in 2009. He worked for nine years as a foreman and concrete finisher at Wheelcon Inc. in Tylersport, PA. He also worked for twelve years at Supply One, Inc. in Reading as a machinist. Ronnie was a lifetime member of the NRA, he was also a member of Community Rod and Gun Club in Bechtelsville, Boulder Valley Sportsman’s Assoc. in Sumneytown, PA and Branch Valley Fish and Game Assoc. in Perkasie. He was also a member of the Montgomery County Chapter of Alliance of Bikers Aimed Toward Education (ABATE).

Ronnie was a dedicated PopPop, husband, and father, he loved nothing more than being with his grandsons, showing them the outdoors and how to be little country boys. On any given day, Ronnie could always be found with a cold Coors light, a dirty joke, and a grill full of meats after a day of working at the house or on one of his vehicles. As Poppop Cook would tell grandkids as they left: “See you later, Buckeroo.”

In addition to his wife and mother, Ronnie is survived by two daughters: Melissa L. Morrison, wife of James, and Crystal L. Schrimer, as well as three grandsons: Patrick J. Morrison, Anthony T. Morrison, and Malikia Keeler. He is also survived by one brother, Brian Cook, husband of Melanie, and two sisters, Lori Jane Nielsen, and Kimberlee Bock, wife of Nicholas Bock.
