Roy E. Fleming

Roy E. Fleming, 84, husband of Carolyn (Anstey) Fleming, of Gilbertsville, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022, at home.

Born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Roy was the son of the late Otis T. Fleming and Alma (Eddelmon) Fleming.

Roy worked in production at Fansteel, in California, at Plessey, in Melville, New York and most recently for Heraeus, in West Conshohocken.

In addition to his wife, Roy is survived by three daughters: Sheila (Fleming) Cantando, wife of Tim, Tina (Fleming) Davis, wife of Billy and Tammy (Fleming) Lawson, wife of Brian, as well as three sons: Jesse Fleming, husband of Karen, Ronald (Rick) Fleming, husband of Dennis, and Kevin Fleming, husband of Jenna. Roy is also survived by eight grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren.

Roy is predeceased by one brother, Leon Richard Fleming.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church 2941 Lutheran Rd Gilbertsville, PA 19525. A funeral service will follow at 10:30AM at the church. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Pottstown, PA.

  1. I want to say Theresa and I are praying for each of you in your time of loss. He was so much fun to be around. We all are going to miss him deeply. To Uncle Roy’s lovely wife we will one day see him again and you will be able to walk the golden streets of heaven together. Thank you for being such a kind person to me, God bless you. Because Uncle Roy was more than an uncle, he was a teacher of God and to respect all around you. God bless you Carolyn and in your time of need may his angels comfort you always.
