Donald G. Eshbach

Donald G. Eshbach, 81, husband of Lillian (Henry) Eshbach, of Gilbertsville, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021.

Born in Sassmansville, Donald was the son of the late Melvin Eshbach and Luella (Schonely) Eshbach.

Donald was a graduate of Boyertown High School and worked as an auto mechanic at Williams Pontiac in Boyertown for forty-five years. He also was a delivery driver for Advanced Auto in Boyertown.

Don was a member of New Hanover United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Pike Township Sportsman Association and Gabelsville Sportsman Association.

Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty-nine years is one son, Dean Eshbach and one daughter, Lori (Eshbach) Hojecki, as well as two grandsons: Wesley Eshbach, husband of Tammy, and  Joel Eshbach, husband of Jessica. He is also survived by five great grandchildren: Caleb, Hannah, Kelly Ann, Jade and Jace.

Donald was predeceased by one son, Terry Eshbach as well as a sister, Dolores Eshbach.

Services will be private at the request of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donald’s memory to New Hanover United Methodist Church 2211 Swamp Pike Gilbertsville, PA 19525
