Franklin E. Nace Jr., 85, of York, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Rest Haven.

Born in Philadelphia, Franklin was the son of the late Franklin Sr., and Mildred (Little) Nace.

Franklin was a 1954 graduate of Girard College in Philadelphia where he became a resident student following the death of his father. He went on to serve in the Army where he regularly sent his pay home to help support his mom and siblings. Following his service to the country, Frank went on to work as an aircraft mechanic for Pan Am.

Frank was a kind and generous man, willing to share what he had with those he loved.  He always had a story and a smile. He used humor to bridge the gap between generations and loved to make people laugh.

Franklin is survived by his non-biological daughter, Paula Livingston, as well as her children: Richard Wise and Jenna Leigh Kerestes, wife of Jason. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Caleb, Caleigh, and Catherine as well as four nieces, three nephews and a large extended family.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown, PA. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
