Robert Sidney Morrell

Robert Sidney Morrell, 78, widower of Shirley A. (Marburger) Endy-Morrell, of Boyertown, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Pottstown Hospital.

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Miriam Alverda (Fleck) Morrell and William H. Morrell, Sr.

Robert was a 1960 graduate of Boyertown High School.  Throughout his life, he was employed by Jacob Pattern Works as a pattern maker, Green Lane tool & Die Company as a tool and die maker and Parish Dana Corporation as a tool maker.

He was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ.

Robert was a member for 50 plus years and a Past Noble Grand of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Boyertown Lodge #708.

Surviving are two sons, Raymond S. Morrell, husband of Robyn and Randall S. Morrell; one stepdaughter, Jamie, wife of Doran Chalupsa; one stepson, Lyle (Chip) Endy; two sisters, Linda, wife of Bruce Jameson and Sandra S. Morrell. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, as well as his companion, Sarah Runkowski, with whom he resided.

Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Thursday evening, June 10, 2021, from 7:00 – 8:30PM at Morrell Funeral Home, 124 W. Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA.  Services and burial will be private.

    I’m so sorry to hear of Roberts passing. Years ago when Roberts health was better I really enjoyed his visits to the Good Shepherd
    church office where he would drop off his offering envelopes and we would chat about his week & family.
    He was such an interesting man to talk to. Prayers are with you & your family at this time.
