Marie M. (Hoch) Reinert, 98, widow of John F. Reinert, of Topton, formerly of Lobachsville, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at The Lutheran Home at Topton.
Born in Pleasantville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elwood C. Hoch, Sr. and Mary (Mathias) Hoch.
Marie graduated from Oley High School. She then together with her husband, operated a nursery and Christmas tree farm in Lobachsville. It had started out as a hobby but turned into their business.
She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ. Marie enjoyed gardening, cooking, and tending to her home.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy, wife of Ralph McElwee; one granddaughter, Kimberly Allmendinger; three great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Meghan, and John Tyler “JT”; two sisters, Janet Levengood, Eleanor Gehris and one brother, Elwood Hoch, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral Service on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 10:00AM at Morrell Funeral Home, 124 W. Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA. A visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:00AM prior to the service. Burial will be in Oley Cemetery Spangsville.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude or charity of your choice.

So sorry for your loss. She had a long and filling life. Remember her as very immaculate and organized person. She and John treasured the Christmas tree business.

So sorry to hear of Marie’s passing. We always tried to stop by to visit when she lived in Tower Court. She was a great ambassador to our Marie when she moved in next door to your Marie. She was a wonderful lady. May she rest in peace.
