Jean M. Matlack

Jean M. (Leister) Matlack, 88, widow of Ronald Matlack, of Boyertown, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at her residence.

Born in Gilbertsville, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Florence (Miller) Leister and Clayton B. Leister.

Jean was employed by Boyertown Police and Emergency as a dispatcher for 30 years.

She was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ.

Surviving is one daughter, Theresa J., wife of Robert W. Ellis; one son, Rickey A. Matlack; three grandsons, Robert R. Ellis (Melinda), Lief Matlack and Steve Viscardi; one granddaughter, Jeanne Renee McCabe (Daniel); seven great-grandchildren, Meghan Crider, Justin Ellis, Adeline McCabe, Dylan McCabe, Gloriana Matlack, Julian Matlack and Anthony Matlack and one brother, Clayton Leister.

Jean was predeceased by one son, Dennis Matlack and one brother, Gerald Wetzel.

Services will be private at the request of the family.

Morrell Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
