Grace A. (Schwenk) Spohn, 92, widow of Robert W. Spohn, of Boyertown, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Kutztown Manor.
Born in Boyertown, she was the daughter of the late Alice R. (Moyer) Schwenk and Howard S. Schwenk.
Grace was a 1945 graduate of Boyertown Area High School. She worked part time at the former Landis Brick Yard in New Berlinville for 18 years in the office taking brick orders. Grace was also a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and a member of Society of Farm Women in Berks county from 1970 – 1987.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one sister, Helen M. Clouser and two brothers, Ernest M. Schwenk and Vernon M. Schwenk.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 11:00AM at Hill Church Cemetery, 620 Hill Church Road, Boyertown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Memorial Fund, 45 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown, PA 19512.
