Sophie E. (Tarabulski) Wisniewski, 101, widow of Joseph T. “Wish” Wisniewski, of Boyertown, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at ManorCare in Pottstown.
Born in Providence, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Michalyna (Talalaya) Tarabulski and Joseph Tarabulski.
Sophie was a 1936 graduate of Lakewood High School. She worked for the New York City public school system as a student aid in Corona, Queens, NYC. She also worked in the war effort.
Surviving are one daughter, Jo-Ann, wife of Gary Warfield; one son, Lawrence Wisniewski, husband of Charlotte; one granddaughter, Jessi and one grandson, Michael.
She was predeceased by seven sisters and one brother.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery in Pleasant Mount, PA.

My condolences on you mom’s passing. She was a lovely lady. You mother and my mom were friends for a long time. They worked together during the war, two Rosie-the-riverors.
