Farrah M. (Palmer) Wertz, 42, of Boyertown, died on Friday, March 29, 2019 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Francis P. Wertz.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of Robert Palmer Sr. and the late Patricia (Sedgwick) Palmer.
She was a graduate of Kennedy Kendrick High School and attended Chestnut Hill College.
She was employed at DM Transportation in Boyertown as a logistics coordinator.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Frank, Farrah is survived by two sons, Xavier K. 17; Octavian D. 13; a daughter, Sedgwick M.15; a step brother, Robert C. Jr.; and an aunt, Joan Sedgwick.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 11:00am – 12:00pm at Morrell Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Philadelphia Avenue in Boyertown.

My heart breaks for the loss of your mother. She was a special person who could create a feast with very little. If life gave her lemons, she made the best tasting lemonade. She was resourceful and creative. She was a mama bear, always protective and advocating. I learned so much from her. We would dream of being in Renaissance England at King Henry’s court. We dreamed of visiting the tower where Anne Boleyn was held. I can’t wait for all of us to be with her again. You will make her proud and I will help you every step of the way.
When I was about 11 my father told me that I had a sister, a half sister more precisely but asister just the same. My heart always longed to meet my sister to have that special relationship only a brother and sister could. With the invention of facebook I was able to track her down and even though it took her quite a while to get ahold of me, reasons untold we finally started to talk and develop a relationship. I will always regret never having the opportunity to meet her face to face. I am however eternally greatful for the conversations that we did share. I always loved Farrah ever since the first day I was told about her. She will forever be in my heart.
We are so very sadden to hear of Farrah’s passing and our hearts are heavy. I remember Farrah as child when she would visit with her Aunt Joan and Uncle Frank who lived up the street from me. We reconnected many years later through the Sedgwick family and for that we are grateful. Please know that we are thinking and praying for everyone. May beautiful Farrah rest in peace with her angels who have gone before her and may God watch over her children and protect them with love and care. God Bless
