Harvey P. Schatz, 90, of Hellertown formerly of Bechtelsville, died on Friday, October 26, 2018, at Hospice House of St. Luke’s in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Sandra (Hoffman) Schatz whom he was married to for 54 years. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Daniel Schatz & the late Stella (Adams) Schatz.

Harvey was a molder for Eastern Foundry in Boyertown after retiring he worked for Quigley Chevrolet in Bally as a handy man.

Harvey served in the Marines during World War II.

Mr. Schatz was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, of Boyertown.

In addition to his wife Sandra of 54 years, Mr. Schatz is survived by 2 daughters, Doreen Gill, wife of William, Bethlehem and Donna Reibsane, wife of John, Temple; a brother Ralph Schatz, husband of Maryann of Boyertown. 2 granddaughters Corrin & Kelli Gill, a grandson, Patrick Gill.

Family and friends are invited to Harvey’s funeral on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 11:00am at Morrell Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Phila. Ave., Boyertown, PA. 19512. A viewing will be held from 10:00 – 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
