Doris E. (Buck) Peterson, 79, of Bechtelsville passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the widow of her first husband George W. Moose and her second husband James R. Peterson. Born in Clearfield County, she was the daughter of the late Emerson Buck and the late Georgia (Houdeshell) Buck.
Doris worked at Osan’s in the cutting room for many years and at Frederick Mennonite Home as a hostess.
She was a member of Huff’s Union Church.
She enjoyed traveling, especially her yearly trip to Disney World. She also loved her dogs.
Mrs. Peterson was the mother of 5 children, George, Janice, Timothy, Georgia, and Jamie. She also was a grandmother to 5 grandchildren; a sister Janice R. Taylor.
She was predeceased by 4 brothers and is survived by a sister, Janice R. Taylor.
Services for Doris will be private.
