Shirley A. (Miller) Schaeffer, 85, of Shillington, died on Friday, June 29, 2018 in her home. She was the widow of John S. Schaeffer Jr.

Born in North Coventry Twp., Chester County, she was a daughter of the late William F. Miller and the late Carrie H. (Brotz) Miller.

Mrs. Schaeffer was a homemaker.

Shirley is survived by a son William J. Schaeffer Sr., husband of Carol A., Bechtelsville; a daughter, Barbara A., wife of Stewart C. Smith Jr., Freeland; as well as 6 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by 3 sons; Johnny L., Robert K., & an infant son Thomas R. Schaeffer; a daughter, Kathleen Brazuk; 3 sisters; Ester, Mary & Arlene; 2 brothers, Charles & Kenneth.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 11:00am at Morrell Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Philadelphia Avenue in Boyertown. A viewing will be held from 10:00am – 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hill Church Cemetery.
