Jacob J. Werstler, 98, widower of Joyce (Reichart) Werstler, of Boyertown, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Manatawny Manor.

Born in Gablesville, he was the son of the late Warren Werstler and Gertrude (Johnson) Werstler.

Jacob worked at Boyertown Packaging as a machine operator for thirty years and prior to that he worked at Fashion Hosiery.

He served in the Army during World War II.  He was a member of Good Shepherd UCC in Boyertown.

Surviving are one son, Harvey R. of Boyertown; three sisters, Gertrude, Hilda and Pauline; one granddaughter, Heidi, wife of Anthony Mozzo of Delaware and one great-granddaughter, Emily.

He was predeceased by one son, J. Donald; five brothers, Daniel, Paul, Ralph, Henry and Earl and three sisters, Lillian, Helen and Amy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:AM at Morrell Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA.  A viewing will be held from 10 to 11AM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Colebrookdale Township.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to Good Shepherd UCC Memorial Fund, 35 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA  19512.
