Gwendolyn T. (Streett) Carnes, 80, widow of Eugene Leonard Carnes Sr., of Boyertown, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Manatawny Manor.

Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Thelma (Murray) and Edward Street.

Gwendolyn was a 1956 graduate of Pottstown High School.  She was a homemaker and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution – Mahanatawny Chapter.  She also was very interested in genealogy.

She was a member of New Goshenhoppen UCC Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Terri Miller; two sons, Leonard Carnes, husband of Ruth, Lonnie Carnes, husband of Lori; five grandchildren, Lee, Casey, Chase, Rebecca and Megan; five great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and one step-great grandchild.

She was predeceased by one brother, John and one grandson, Taylor.

Service will be private at the convenience of the family.
