Grace E. Miller

Grace E. Miller, 86, widow of Daniel M. Miller, of Boyertown, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at her residence.

Born in Churchtown, she was the daughter of the late Mary Catherine (Hawk) Strock and Harry B. Strock.

Grace worked at Yingling’s Restaurant as a hostess for eight years, she was also the deli manager for Thriftway for five years.  She was an aid at Earl Elementary School for eight years and also a Junior Girl Scout Leader.  Grace loved to garden, crochet, bake for different social events and above all, she loved being a grandmother.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s (Hill) Lutheran Church and she served on the church council, sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and served on the cemetery board.

Surviving are one daughter, Bonnie, wife of Robert Eisenhart of Bally; one granddaughter, Danielle Eisenhart of Bally and one sister, Elsie Kocher.

She was predeceased by one son, Brian Miller and four brothers, Harry, Paul, Charles and John.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph’s (Hill) Lutheran Church, 244 Koch Road, Boyertown, PA.  A viewing will be held from 10 to 11AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Joseph’s (Hill) Lutheran Memorial Fund, 244 Koch Road, Boyertown, PA 19512.
