Gary R. Evans, 80, of Gilbertsville passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Pottstown Hospital.

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Eber L. Biehl and Margaret (Yerger) Biehl.

Gary graduated from Boyertown High School and continued his education at mechanics school in St. Louis.  He was employed by Doehler Jarvis in Pottstown as a mechanic for thirty plus years.  He served in the Army during the Korean War.

Surviving are one daughter, Kristine T. Evans and her partner Craig Boykins; one grandson, Jonathan K. Evans, husband of Kristy and one granddaughter, Alyssa, wife of Dilan Jimenez.

He was predeceased by one son, Nathanael G. Evans.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery.

Morrell Funeral Home Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
