Lydia M. (Kuser) Junger, 97, widow of Joseph Junger Jr., of Barto, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Born in Earl Township, she was the daughter of the late Mabel (Hess) Kuser and Samuel Kuser.

Lydia last worked at Certified Welding.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s (Hill) Lutheran Church.  Lydia enjoyed gardening and attending to her flowers.  She also enjoyed embroidering and crocheting.

Surviving are one daughter, Vicki, wife of Timothy Bentz of Barto; one granddaughter, Jennifer, wife of Ryan Souder of Gilbertsville; one grandson, Michael Bentz of Bechtelsville; one great-granddaughter, Madelyn and one great-grandson, Brendan.

She was predeceased by one grandson, Kevin Bentz; five brothers, Lloyd, Willard, Raymond, James, and Charles and two sisters, Virginia Schwenk and Helen Angstadt.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Morrell Funeral Home Inc., 124 W. Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA.  Relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 to 10:30AM.  There will be no viewing.  Burial will be in Hills Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to St. Joseph’s (Hill) Lutheran Memorial Fund, 244 Koch Road, Boyertown, PA.
