Glenn W. Hull Jr.

Glenn W. Hull Jr., 84, husband of Janice E. (Boyer) Hull of Bechtelsville passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Mary Hull and Glenn Hull Sr.

Glenn graduated from Dobbins Vocational School.  He was employed by Bell Telephone for 30 plus years as a lineman and then a switchman.

He served in the Army during Vietnam.  He was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church. Glenn had over 55 years of volunteer fire service, he was the former Fire Chief of Sassamansville Fire Company and after the New Hanover merger, he served as fire police.  He was also currently a fire marshal.  In his earlier years, he was a Mummer who played in the greater Kensington String Band.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 55 years are two daughters, Louise wife of Ronald Bolam and Dawn wife of Ryan Fox; four granddaughters, Madison, McKalley, Sydney and Delaney and one grandson, Wesley.

He was predeceased by one son Glenn III and one brother.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 611 Swamp Creek Road, New Berlinville, PA.  A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11AM.  Burial will be in St. Andrew United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to St. Andrew United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 434, New Berlinville, PA 19545.
