Robert G. Johnson, 82, husband of Beatrice J. (Cellucci) Johnson, of Gilbertsville, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018.

Born in McCartney, PA, he was the son of the late Marld “Leroy” Johnson and Grace (Patterson) Margillo.

He was a 1954 graduate of Moshannon Valley High School. Robert worked for Universal Machine as a machinist.

He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Church. Robert volunteered with habitat for humanity and meals on wheels.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Rev. Donna House, wife of Christopher and Joanne Johnson; one son John R. Johnson; two granddaughters, Jessica and Jordyn; one brother Fred and two sisters, Patsy and Dorothy Ann.

He was predeceased by step-mother Margaret and step-brother Donald.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11AM at Shepherd of the Hills Church, 527 Hoffmansville Road, Bechtelsville, PA.  There will be no viewing. Burial will be in Shepherd of the Hills Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Boyertown Multi-Service Meals on Wheels, 200 West Spring Street, Boyertown, PA 19512.
