Frances Pauline (Mutter) Sheeler, 88, widow of Russell Sheeler, Jr., passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.

Born in Earl Township, Frances was the daughter of the late Paul and Florence (Dahms) Mutter.

Frances worked for over forty years at Osan’s Manufacturing as a sewing machine operator.

Frances still met up once a month with the women she worked with at Osan’s. She also enjoyed bingo and the casino, as well as watching Nascar. Frances enjoyed trips to Ocean City, Maryland.

Frances is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Schwenk, wife of Tony; and Elaine Bartman, wife of Linwood; as well as her longtime companion, Harvey Shaner, Sr. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Kelly (Eric) Schoch, Mandy Wampole, Melissa (Bobby) Holm, and Nicole (Travis) Poley; as well as six great grandchildren, Tanner Wampole, Devyn Wampole, Rachel Schoch, Hayden Holm, Bobby Holm, and Peyton Poley.

Frances is predeceased by one sister, Fern Gressley, and one brother, Paul Mutter, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 10AM to 11AM with a memorial service following immediately at 11AM at St. Andrew United Methodist Church 611 Swamp Creek Rd. Bechtelsville, PA 19505.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
