  6. Marilyn , my friend, I will always think of you with fond memories. All the field hockey games your umpired, my disagreement with some of your calls but never-the- less, I always knew you would umpire fairly . You were a confident and very good official! All of our get togethers at MaryAnn’s house. You, Whis, MaryAnn, Cathy , Judy, oh the fun and good conversation and friendship. Your gentle encouragement for me to get into umpiring. I finally listened to your encouragement and began umpiring field hockey and lacrosse. Without your mentorship, I would have stopped soon after I started. Thank you for your guidance and encouragement but most importantly your friendship. RIP my dear friend.

  9. Marilyn influenced more umpires than any of us will ever know. I recall fond memories of being a young official and listening to Marilyn “talking hockey” at many a tournament far away from home.
Marilyn never arrived without a word of wisdom or a special umpiring trinket to share with young umpires and life long friends alike.
Marilyn, I will always remember your energizing spirit and boisterous storytelling; each echoing your contagious laugh. See you forever on the field!!
