Marlam E. “Molly” (Moyer) Ruhl, 86, wife of Carl R. “Sonny” Ruhl, of Bechtelsville, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Chestnut Knoll.

Born in Dorrance, PA, Molly was the daughter of the late Walter A. and Agnes V. (Wenner) Moyer.

Molly was a graduate of Boyertown Area High School and worked for many years at Boyertown Casket Company until they closed.

Molly was a member of Good Shepherd UCC in Boyertown. She was very active with the Senior Circle at church. She also enjoyed gardening and running field trials with her beloved dogs. Molly was an avid swimmer and loved to travel.

In addition to her husband of sixty-five years, Molly is survived by one brother, Walter Moyer, Jr., and his companion Diane; and one sister, Jo-Ann Pollock, and her husband Edwin; as well as several nieces and nephews, including greats.

Molly was predeceased by three siblings, Denis M. Moyer, Diana M. Schanley, and Karen K. Moser.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 10AM to 11AM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. A memorial service will follow at 11AM.

There will be no burial at this time.
