George R. Caflin, Jr.

George R. Caflin, Jr., 72, husband of Connie (Schwenk) Caflin, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

Born in Easton, George was the son of George R. Caflin, Sr., and the late Dorothy (Chapman) Caflin.

George was a Navy veteran and retired from PPL after more than thirty years.

George enjoyed playing golf. He also loved family vacations to OBX every year.

In addition to his wife and father, George is survived by one son, Christopher Caflin, and one daughter, Catherine (Caflin) Rudisill, as well as one stepson, Kevin Bowen. George is also survived by two grandchildren, Zoe and Kira Caflin; and two step grandchildren, Blake and Brooke Bowen.

George was preceded in death by one brother, Barry Caflin; and one grandson, Zachary Caflin.

There will be no services at this time.

  1. My deepest heartfelt condolences to Georges family. George was a coworker and hunting buddy, Many good memories together. Many laughs. Still have a gun cabinet in my cabin that George made. A true friend.

Although I haven’t seen George in many years, the years that we did spend together, mostly outdoors with Bob A. and Jim H., are still with me in many great memories of shared laughter, good-natured ribbing and friendship. I was fortunate to have known George, and I pray for you and your family at this difficult time.
