Daniel A. Hartman

Daniel Hartman, 48, of Sassamansville, died Tuesday afternoon in LehighValley Hospital. He was the son of Paul and Sharon(Hill) Hartman.
He was a 1995 graduate of Boyertown Senior High School and attended Castleton State College. While in college he continued with his passion in snowboarding and became a part of Burton’s Snowboarding Team in the Halfpipe. He competed in many competitions in the US and Canada.
As the years went by he started mapping for fiber optics cabling on the East Coast and thru out the Midwest for many different companies including Comcast. He then moved to Philadelphia tending and managing various bars where he made many new friends. Coming back to Boyertown he found a new home with old school friends working at Frecon’s Cidery.
Dan is survived by his parents and one brother, Matthew and wife Stefanie along with their children Bennett, Ellie and Wyatt. He will be sadly missed by all.
Friends may call on Thursday evening September 4th from 6-9 pm at The Morrell Funeral Home, 124 W Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, Pa 19512.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lehigh Valley Health Network, Office of Philanthropy, P.O. Box 1883, Allentown, PA. 18105 in his name.

  1. Mr. and Mrs. Hartman I am beyond sadness to hear Dan passed. All I can say is Dan was always fun to be around! I have many fond memories at your house for Cub Scout Den meetings! There is nothing that I can say to assuage your profound grief – all I can say is Dan was a positive force in our world.
